Responsibilities
Candidate responsibilities
will include:
- Teaching undergraduate Sports Medicine & Exercise Science courses, which may include Kinesiology,
Medical Terminology, Injury Care & Prevention, Exercise Testing & Prescription, Biomechanics, Sport & Exercise Nutrition, Exercise
Physiology, Physiology & Psychology of Movement, and Professional Development. - Supervising student clinical observational/shadowing
experiences. - Serving as an advisor and mentor regarding student academic plans and career paths.
- Serving as an advisor to
the student pre-professional club.
While not required, candidate will be encouraged to conduct externally funded research
and/or other scholarly activities, such as journal publications, conference presentations, etc.
Qualifications
A Ph.
D. in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Human Performance, or related discipline is required.
Applicants must be able to articulate a
Christian worldview in one's teaching and academic discipline and fully support the University vision, mission and statement of faith. The candidate should contribute to the spiritual
and academic fellowship of the University.
