Faculty Position in Multimedia Design and Digital Media
Key Responsibilities
1. Academic Responsibilities
- Teach courses such as:
- Multimedia Design Studio
- Digital Content Creation
- Animation (2D/3D)
- Motion Graphics
- Audio-Visual Production
- Interactive Media
- Video Editing & Post-Production
- UI/UX Fundamentals (if applicable)
- Conduct practical lab sessions and studio critiques
- Guide student projects, portfolios, and internships
- Develop course plans, assignments, and evaluation rubrics
2. Research & Creative Contribution
- Publish research papers / creative works (as per university norms)
- Participate in media festivals, exhibitions, and conferences
- Undertake funded or consultancy-based multimedia projects
- Explore emerging technologies (AR/VR, immersive media, AI in media)
3. Institutional Responsibilities
- Assist in curriculum development and revision
- Support accreditation and quality assurance processes
- Contribute to workshops, seminars, and industry collaborations
- Mentor student clubs and creative initiatives
Required Skills & Expertise
- Proficiency in:
- Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition)
- 2D/3D Animation tools (Blender, Maya, etc.)
- Video editing & motion graphics software
- Strong understanding of:
- Storyboarding & Visual Storytelling
- Sound Design Basics
- Digital Media Production Workflow
- Interactive & Web Media Basics
