Faculty Position

TheDepartment of English, National Chengchi University (NCCU)in Taipei, Taiwan invites applications forone full-time faculty position (Assistant Professor or above), beginning August 1, 2026.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or Literature (nationality unrestricted)
• Proven scholarly research and teaching ability
• Capable of teaching undergraduate English courses, general education courses, and graduate-level seminars
• College teaching experience preferred

1. Cover letter and CV (download CV form from the NCCU Personnel Office website)
2. Ph.D. diploma (photocopy) and teacher certificate (if applicable)
3. Undergraduate and graduate transcripts
4. Two recommendation letters (written within the past two years)
5. Dissertation and representative publications within the last five years
6. Two sample course syllabi
7. Explanation of interdisciplinary research or teaching experience (if applicable)
8. Photocopy of ID/passport, or R.O.C. Alien Residence Certificate (not required)
