Faculty Positions – Biochemistry
The Department of Biological Chemistry at the University of Michigan Medical School invites applications for tenure-track or tenured faculty positions at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level. We seek colleagues whose research brings innovative biochemical, structural, cellular, or computational approaches to uncover molecular mechanisms that impact human health. Our department combines a century-long legacy of biochemical discovery with a forward-looking vision that integrates molecular, cellular, and quantitative sciences, and is dedicated to training the next generation of scientific leaders.
Successful candidates will join a collaborative, interdisciplinary, and inclusive community that thrives on curiosity-driven discovery. Faculty in Biological Chemistry engage broadly across Michigan Medicine and the University of Michigan’s rich research ecosystem. Qualifications include a Ph.D. and/or M.D., a strong record of research accomplishments, and a demonstrated commitment to mentoring and scientific leadership. Applicants for Associate and Full Professor positions should have a history of impactful research, extramural funding, and contributions to the broader scientific community.
