Faculty Positions in Artificial Intelligence Thrust

AI Thrust, under Information Hub at HKUST(GZ), invites applications for multiple tenure-track and tenured faculty positions at all ranks (Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor). Research areas include but are not limited to machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, robotics, reinforcement learning, data science, and multiagent systems.

Expectant Faculty:

1. Conduct world-leading research on various fields within AI.
2. Mentoring students and other community services as required.
3. Contribute to the University’s education reform and the establishment of an innovative talent cultivation model across the University.
4. Contribute to the establishment of the University’s education policy, including teaching and learning assessment, teaching and learning quality assurance, etc.
5. Contribute to promoting innovative teaching methods, including blended learning, flip classroom, etc.

Qualifications: Candidates should hold a Ph.D. degree in AI or related fields. Specific requirements apply for each rank regarding research, teaching, funding, and leadership.
