Work content and job description: As a full-time faculty member of the you will be engaged in education, research, social contribution, and overall university administration in order to achieve the educational and research objectives of the Shibaura Institute of Technology.

Work location: Address: 135-8548 Tokyo 3-7-5 Toyosu, Koto-ku, Nearest station: Tokyo Metro Toyosu station. You may be required to travel to a campus other than the work site once a week for classes, etc.

- Leading Researcher (R4): Annual salary: 8 million yen. Working hours: 09:00-17:00. Employment type: Regular employee. Contract period: Tenured. Contract period description: Full-time（For associate professors and professors, the retirement age is 65. For assistant professors, the term is 3 years (renewed every year, and can be extended up to a maximum of five years. Those who have successfully passed the review process will be granted tenure along with promotion to associate professor). The Discretionary Labor System for Professional Work applies（40 hours per week). Classes may be scheduled on national holidays according to the academic calendar. Probationary period: present. Trial period 6 months.
- Recognised Researcher (R2): Annual salary: 4 million yen. Working hours: 09:00-17:00. Employment type: Contract employee. Contract period: Nontenured. Contract period description: For assistant professors, the term is 3 years (renewed every year, and can be extended up to a maximum of five years.
