Officially approved to open on September 30th 2013 by China’s Ministry of Education, ShanghaiTech University is a small-scale research university jointly established by Shanghai Municipal Government and Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), which located at Zhang-Jiang High-Tech Park in Shanghai, China. Job Information

Position: Tenure-track Faculty: Assistant Professor or Associate Professor

Qualification

This search is open to candidates in all broadly defined areas of Materials, Physics and Chemistry. Competitive candidates should have a Ph.D., an outstanding record of research accomplishments, an innovative future research plan, an ability to achieve teaching excellence at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, and a commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive community in the practice and teaching of science. The successful candidates will be expected to have excellent academic achievements, teach graduate and undergraduate courses, and a commitment to university service and public outreach. Salary and Benefits

University will provide initial start-up fund and research lab space matching the research needs. Starting salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
