Faculty Positions in Single-Cell Biology

Full-time tenured or tenure-track positions in single-cell genomics, proteomics, and metabolomics at assistant, associate and full professor levels.

Center for Single-Cell Omics (CSCOmics)

CSCOmics is a new initiative to conduct biomedical research on genomics, proteomics and metabolomics at the single-cell level, with a focus on the speedy translation of new discoveries and technologies into the clinic. The new center also provides single-cell as a service to biomedical investigators and clinicians at our affiliated hospitals. The CSCOmics has its own, completely renovated research building on our medical campus in downtown Shanghai. The center hosts state-of-the-art single cell equipment. Special interest in the following areas of research

• Single-cell, multi-omics technology development and application
• Cell heterogeneity in normal and ageing-related diseases, e.g., cardiovascular disease, cancer, and neurodegeneration
• Single-cell disease management (e.g., risk factors, [early] diagnosis, precision medicine)
• Reproductive development and aging

Requirements

PhD, MD or equivalent biomedical degree. A track record of scientific excellence in the biomedical sciences. We expect candidates to establish leadership positions in their areas of research and strengthen the medical school’s translational efforts, especially in precision medicine.
