We sincerely invite applications for tenure-track or tenured faculty positions in the Department of Polymer Science and Engineering (DPSE, http://polymer.zju.edu.cn/english/) at Zhejiang University (ZJU).

Positions and Qualifications

Research areas include Polymer Chemistry & Physics, Functional Polymers (in particular biomedical polymers, polymer membranes for separation, and optoelectronic polymers), and Polymer Processing.

Qualified applicants should hold a doctoral degree, and have experiences of overseas research for a period of time, or hold a faculty position in university or advanced research institution, with outstanding achievements.

1. Full-time Faculty Positions

Normal full time faculty positions including assistant professor, associate professor and full professor depending on the background and achievements of applicants. Distinguished applicants (tenured full professor in world-renowned institutions) are encouraged to apply for “Qiushi distinguished professor” position.
Specially-appointed senior scientist for young applicants, in particular below age 35.
“ZJU Hundred Talents Program”. Applicants for “ZJU Hundred Talents Program” should hold a professor or a senior researcher position. Applicants should have been engaged in research work in an overseas higher education or research institution for no less than 3 years. 2. Part-time Faculty Positions

Qualified applicants should hold tenured professorship in world-renowned institutions.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidates will be expected to maintain or develop an independent research program, and to undertake undergraduate and graduate teaching. Appointments will be made under ZJU regulations. Internationally competitive salaries, start-up resources and fringe benefits are offered depending on the positions and exact programs.
