The Division of Life Science at the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology is seeking applications for multiple tenure-track and tenured positions in basic and translational research to address our mission in understanding the mechanisms governing human health and diseases. Candidates with interests and experience in neuroscience and neurological diseases, immunology and immune system disorders, aging and age-related diseases, cancer, regenerative medicine, AI in bioscience, and drug discovery are particularly encouraged to apply. Exceptional applicants whose research programs are outside the above areas are also welcome. Outstanding investigators at both junior and senior ranks will be considered. We are also interested in entrepreneurial-minded candidates whose research programs envision a multidisciplinary perspective and cutting-edge experimental approaches. Successful candidates are expected to establish an independent and internationally recognized research program and to contribute to the missions of the Division in undergraduate and postgraduate education.

The University has a vibrant research environment, and the medium of instruction and administration is English. Candidates should hold a graduate degree (Ph.D., M.D., or Ph.D./M.D.), have completed a postdoctoral training, and have demonstrated the potential to lead a competitive, independently funded research program.
