Background of the recruitment and description of the project
The Department of Microbiology at Yokohama City University School of Medicine invites applications for faculty positions in the following research fields and subjects.
The Department of Microbiology researches immune responses to pathogens, tissue injury, and chronic inflammation, aiming to train medical leaders in developing evidence-based therapies. Responsibilities include delivering undergraduate/graduate lectures, and mentoring students in Research Clerkships and degree programs. Proficiency in English and Japanese is prerequisite. Preference will be given to individuals proactively secure external funding. We provide robust support to help new faculty focus on foundational research and build a high-quality academic career.

Education: Deliver microbiology lectures and laboratory courses for medical students and graduate students.
