Required QualificationsEducation: Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited clinical program.
- This position requires a formal degree in the cited discipline area(s) to ensure that candidates have the foundational knowledge and skill set required to perform the duties of the position. The level of degree is based on accreditation requirements, institutional standards of academic and professional excellence, alignment with peer institution benchmarks, and contributes to the credibility and effectiveness of the role within the university community.
Certifications/Licenses: Licensed or eligible for licensure as an independent licensed psychologist in the States of Kansas and Missouri.
Work Experience: One (1) year of supervised clinical experience, including internship and/or post-doctoral fellowship experience.
Preferred QualificationsEducation: M.A. or M.S. in Sport and Exercise Psychology.
Certifications/Licenses: - CMPC certification.
- APA Division 47 Proficiency.
- PsyPACT authorization or eligibility.
Work Experience:- Specialized training in sport psychology.
- Experience treating eating disorders in athletes and athletes returning from injury.
