The organization profile states: The President of India gave assent to The Central Universities Act, 2009 that envisages establishing and incorporating universities for teaching and research in the various states. The Central University of Jharkhand came into being under this Act on 1st of March, 2009. The Visitor of the Central University of Jharkhand, Her Excellency, Shrimati Pratibha Devisingh Patil, appointed Dr. Darlando T. Job Title: Research Associate, Field Investigator

Job Type: Temporary

Department: Anthropology and Tribal Studies

Qualification: For Research Associate: (a) Master degree in any social science discipline with 55% marks. (b) Ph.D. or M.Phil. or NET. (c) 2 years research experience. For Field Investigator: (a) Master degree in any social science discipline with 55% marks.

Period of Engagement: Total 11 months, covering August, September, and November in 2025; and January, February, March, April, May, July, August, and September in 2026.

Pay Scale: Research Associate - Rs. 47,000/- per month; Field Investigator - Rs. 20,000/- per month
