Key Responsibilities
Successful candidates are expected to:
- Develop and deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and laboratory sessions in their field, with a special emphasis on applications in Medicine.
- Design and implement innovative teaching methods to enhance student learning outcomes, particularly within medical education.
- Mentor and advise students on academic and career-related matters, including pathways to medical school and careers in healthcare.
- Collaborate with colleagues across medical and healthcare disciplines to support interdisciplinary initiatives and academic programs.
- Lead and contribute to research, scholarly activities, and publication.
- Participate in MD program administration, academic committees, and community engagement.
Qualifications
Professor
- MD, PhD (or equivalent).
- Distinguished record of teaching, research, and leadership.
- Significant contributions to academic scholarship and clinical practice.
Associate Professor
- MD or PhD (or equivalent).
- Strong record of research, teaching excellence, and service.
- Evidence of academic leadership.
Assistant Professor
- MD or PhD (or equivalent).
- Demonstrated research potential and teaching ability.
- Commitment to collaborative academic growth.
