Job Overview

Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (SWUFE) is located in a historical but affordable city of Chengdu, China. It is one of the best universities and the largest one specializing in finance, economics, accounting and management in China directly under the Ministry of Education of China, with more than 22,000 full-time students. SWUFE offers various graduate and undergraduate programs covering, but not limited to, finance, accounting, economics and management, which is the only research university in Western China to focus on business studies under Project 211. In 2017, SWUFE was included into the list of China’s “Double First-Class” University Project. With rapid growth in the past 90 years, SWUFE has been a leading university in business education in its region, and is becoming an important research oriented university in China.

As the largest school of SWUFE, the School of Business Administration (SBA) prides itself on being consistently at the forefront of management education in Western China. SBA is the first business school in west China to be awarded EQUIS accreditation, the first institution in southwestern China to grant degrees of MBA, EMBA and doctoral degrees of management and industrial economics, which acquired the EQUIS re-accreditation award in 2018. SBA has the most internationally oriented faculty team in southwestern China, and nearly 40% of faculty members have degrees from overseas world-renowned universities. Requirements

Qualified candidates must be ABD or hold a PhD or foreign equivalent in the respective field. Candidates should also have the potential to publish research in the highest quality, top tier journals in the discipline. Evidence of excellence in teaching is highly desired. The school also values individuals who are committed to engaging in interdisciplinary collaborations.
