Description: Tenure-track Organizational Behavior & Theory faculty position opening at the Tepper School of Business, Carnegie Mellon University for appointment at the untenured (Assistant) level.
Qualifications: Applicants should demonstrate achievement of, or potential for, excellence in research and in teaching MBA, doctoral, and undergraduate students. Applicants should have a PhD at the time of appointment (Fall 2026) in a discipline related to Organizational Behavior (including Organizational Behavior, Management, Strategy, Psychology, Sociology or interdisciplinary programs). The ideal candidate can discuss organizational behavior and management across a variety of industries and business problems that face managers in today's business environment. The OBT faculty at the Tepper School specialize in the areas such as inter- and intra-group behavior, human-AI teaming, social networks, organizational learning, conflict and negotiations, status and power, motivation and incentives, ethics, organization design, entrepreneurship, and strategy with a specific focus on inter-disciplinary and cross-level research.
