Fall Adjunct Faculty (Music- Applied Voice) (On Campus)
The Department of Fine and Performing Arts seeks to establish a pool of qualified applicants for a part-time Adjunct Faculty appointment in Music- Applied Voice and Related Courses. Successful applicants may teach up to six (6) semester credit hours within the required discipline of applied voice lessons and/or related courses, serve on faculty committees for voice recitals, hold office hours, and assist students as needed. This position requires face-to-face interactions through a regular schedule of attendance on campus.
Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Music-vocal focus
- Experience teaching private voice students and related courses
- Availability to attend student voice recitals as a faculty committee member
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 years of teaching public school or college choir/voice students
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
- Ability to interact effectively and professionally with the public.
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks.
- Ability to work under stress and with pressing timelines.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
