Job Summary
The Anthropology Program is home to a robust program of campus engagement, scholarship, and experiential learning, and the Program has needs for assistance in all of these areas. An FWSP assistant would provide specific assistance in the areas of research, materials development, and engagement with the UWG student body. The student would receive training and hands-on experience with research projects under the mentorship of Anthropology faculty, including the use of specialized software for transcription and coding of ethnographic data, the development of maps and diagrams, and generating project-specific literature reviews. The assistant would also work alongside the Program Coordinator and other faculty to design and develop engaging materials for community engagement events and recruitment events, gaining hands-on experience in a skillset that transcends disciplines. The assistant would also engage with the student body as an Ambassador for the Anthropology Program, disseminating information and the Program and its initiatives and opportunities to students across campus, aiding in recruitment initiatives to help grow the Program.

- UWG student currently enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours
- Minimum 2.0 GPA
- Eligibility for the FWS program
