Position Summary

A part-time student technician (federal work-study) to work in the soil and water lab within the Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources beginning Fall 2023. Responsibilities consist primarily of laboratory and data entry components, with possibilities for occasional field work.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Processing soils, plant tissues, or waters for chemical analyses (40%)
• Laboratory hygiene (30%)
• Maintaining accurate records of all samples processed as well as data entry and management (10%)
• Sample cataloging and archiving (10%)
• Other duties as needed, including occasional field work (10%)
