Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Manager to support and drive operation reporting requirements and end-to-end project delivery at the Concur Central Admin Team (CCAT) in NUS. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and project management skills to translate business needs into clear, actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting & Analytics

  • Partner stakeholders to define Travel & Expense reporting requirements, translate requirements into actionable metrics / insights for decision-making.
  • Design dashboards and maintain recurring reporting packs for operations performance monitoring and compliance exceptions.
  • Automate recurring reporting requirements and build alerts/monitoring for operation critical metrics.
  • Support governance requirements and standards (e.g., approvals, documentation, audits).
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses, develop executive summaries, and present findings/insights to stakeholders.

Project Management and Continuous Improvement Initiatives

  • Support and deliver cross-functional projects, including coordination of project cadences, scope, timeline and dependencies.
  • Maintain project artifacts: project charters, RAID logs (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies), change requests, and post-implementation reviews.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and support initiatives to optimize delivery and reporting (e.g., workflow standardization, dashboard usability, data trust).
  • Maintain and improve operating manuals, templates, and best practices guide for the team.

Stakeholder Management & Communication

  • Translate complex technical or analytical details into clear business language, highlighting impacts and decision points.
  • Support the lead in preparing executive-ready updates and review packs by consolidating inputs, synthesising insights, and tracking actions/decisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Management, Information Systems, or related discipline (or equivalent relevant experience).
  • At least 3 to 6+ years of experience in a combined role covering cross-functional project coordination/management and business intelligence/reporting.
  • Hands-on ability to deliver executive-level dashboards and recurring reporting with strong data hygiene and documentation.
  • Proficiency in Excel (Power Query, Pivots, formulas) and PowerPoint.
  • Power BI (preferred) and understanding of data modelling (measures vs. columns, relationships, performance)
  • Experience in process improvements and exposure to workflow automation (Power Automate / UiPath) and/or VBA
  • Experience in Finance Shared Services and/or Financial Planning & Analysis is preferred
