Finance, Assistant Professor
The Department of Economics at St. Lawrence University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level beginning August 2026. We seek candidates who teach and conduct research in finance/financial economics and who are prepared to teach both introductory and upper-level finance courses appropriate to the candidate’s expertise in contribution to our finance major. The finance major is housed in the Department of Economics, which consists of 12 members covering a broad range of fields (including finance) and interests. The typical teaching assignment is 3 courses per semester consisting of 2 preparations per semester. We are committed to excellence in teaching and scholarship in a diverse liberal arts environment. The salary range is $95,000 - $108,000 annually. The actual compensation will be determined based on education, experience, and other factors permitted by law.
Minimum Qualifications
PhD or ABD’s near completion and advanced assistant professors will be considered.
