Scope of Position

The Finance Business Partner for the Ross Heart Hospital (“Finance Business Partner”) is a partner in support of the academic medical center’s tripartite mission, supporting Ross Heart Hospital (“the Ross”).

Position Summary

The Finance Business Partner is responsible for providing consultation, coordination, and leadership on financial and operational matters to operational leaders throughout the Ross inclusive of its ambulatory, inpatient and community and population health clinical settings and programs. Specifically, the Finance Business Partner:

• Analyzes, plans and executes opportunities to grow the Ross business and deliver greater value.
• Provides finance officer functions for the Ross including monthly financial reporting and annual budget preparation.
• Provides business analytics/decision support including business planning, strategic planning, and monitoring/ROI.
• Delivers insights and support into the clinical operations areas of the Ross.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is required; Master’s Degree is desirable. A minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible experience in a finance role in a health care environment.
