Financial Administrator 1, College of Arts and Sciences, Hybrid
Job Overview
The Financial Administrator 1 is responsible for the assigned financial activities of a business unit within the Natural Sciences division. With oversight and guidance from the Business Manager of the unit, the Financial Administrator 1 will execute important financial tasks of the unit to ensure operational efficiency.
This position will have the option of a hybrid work schedule (3 days in the office/2 days work from home) for those with a residence within OH/IN/KY following 90 days of training.
Essential Functions
- Order Supplies for assigned departments utilizing various purchasing software programs
- Assist with travel expense reporting and guide faculty/students appropriately to adhere to the process
- Answer concur questions in adherence with the Travel Policy by the traveler
- Process Cash Advances in Concur in adherence with UC policy
- Process invoices to ensure timely payment and account coding
- Process Personal Services Contracts & Limited Services Engagement forms in adherence with UC policy
- Perform related duties based on departmental need.
Required Education
Bachelor’s Degree must be in accounting or related field. Four (4) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
Required Experience
Related finance or accounting experience.
