SCHEDULE:Monday - Friday, 9am to 5pm with one evening 11am-7pm

Evening and weekend work required: Open Houses/Accepted Students Day

REMOTE WORK: No

HOURS/WEEK and MONTHS/YEAR:35 hours/week and 52 weeks/year

FLSA STATUS:Non-Exempt, Hourly

GENERAL PURPOSE

The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Financial Aid Office (i.e. documents, supplies, work orders, budget and managing student workers). Assisting students and parents by answering high volume telephone calls and assisting them at the front desk. Reviewing every incoming document for accuracy and inputting into the financial aid system. Managing incoming emails and voicemails, and keeping track of the budget.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assisting the financial aid office.
• Assist parents and students by telephone and at the counter.
• Enter all incoming documents, Netpartner, checking emails and voicemails.
• Overseas undergraduate assistant and student workers.
• Send letters to students (award letters, revised award letters, follow up letters, post award follow up letters).

REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED
• 1 to 3 years of work related experience
• Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
