OVERVIEW & HIGHLIGHTS

The Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District is seeking a qualified individual as a Financial Aid Supervisor. The Incumbent coordinates the technical and professional day-to-day operations of the Financial Aid Department; assists with the planning, organization and direction of federal, state and local financial aid programs; trains, and directs Financial Aid personnel; oversees financial aid processes, analyzes and resolves complex financial aid cases and maintains program integrity. Initial Salary Placement: New employees start at Step A ($76,574 annually) or B ($80,402 annually) on the salary schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: Any combination equivalent to a bachelor's degree.

EXPERIENCE: Three years of increasingly responsible experience in the overall coordination of financial aid programs, including experience in a lead capacity. Financial aid database management experience.
