Major/Essential Functions

• Liaison with Business Manager and other colleagues on advance/complex financial decisions.
• Monitors financial details to ensure legal compliance.
• Provides supporting documents to the Business Manager and requesting departments (purchasing, p-card, accounting or internal) in a timely manner.
• Ensures business processes and financial management.
• Review and processes orders and payments promptly and in compliance wit State an Institutional policies.
• Handle multiple projects and provide information by answering questions and requests.
• Analyzes spending through Cognos reports (BAVL) to ensure sufficient budget is allocated for all purchases to avoid negative budget balance.

• Prior experience with TechBuy, PCARD, contracting and other financial systems at the state agency.
