The Financial Assistant is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions supporting the Computer Store and Endpoint Services. This role ensures strong financial oversight through account reconciliation, reporting, and process improvement. The position supports operational efficiency, promotes financial transparency, and ensures compliance with institutional policies through effective collaboration and attention to detail.

In this role, you'll take ownership of core financial activities: managing budgets, reconciling transactions, supporting inventory processes, preparing audits, and working across teams to ensure efficient, transparent workflows. You'll also supervise student employees and help make data-driven decisions that keep our services running smoothly.
What You'll Do:
- Oversee financial transactions, reporting, and forecasting for the Computer Store.
- Reconcile budgets, track spending trends, and help ensure compliance with college policies.
- Manage billing, assist with inventory workflows, and support the CAPS equipment program.
- Train and supervise student workers while maintaining documentation for internal audits.
What You Bring:
- An associate's degree (or equivalent experience), plus 2-3 years in a financial or administrative role.
- A knack for spreadsheets, accuracy, and problem-solving.
- Strong communication and organizational skills with a team-oriented mindset.
- Bonus points for experience with Oracle, Tableau, point-of-sale systems, or inventory management.
