Offer Description

The research activity, within WP1 “The Context – Developing the Regional Ecosystem”, will focus on a pedagogical and special education perspective on the territorial contexts involved in the inclusion processes of people with a migrant background. In particular, it will include the mapping and analysis of services, stakeholders and territorial networks, with specific attention to inclusion, participation, accessibility, autonomy and self-determination, as well as to responses to diverse educational and training needs. The activity will also involve the identification and analysis of the training needs of staff working in public bodies, institutions and organisations, as well as in the social sector, contributing to the design and delivery of training programmes. Activities will include the collection, systematisation and analysis of qualitative and quantitative data, documentation of experiences, and reporting of findings to the Principal Investigator.

Skills/Qualifications

The position requires a university-level background in Education, with particular reference to special education, inclusive processes and educational planning. Competence in pedagogical and special education research is required, with particular attention to the observation and analysis of contexts, the identification of educational and training needs, participation and self-determination processes, as well as the design and evaluation of inclusive interventions and training programmes. Relevant research and professional experience in the fields of inclusion, disability, participation, autonomy and self-determination of people in vulnerable situations, as well as experience gained in national and international contexts, will be considered qualifying. Documented research activity relevant to the research programme covered by the position is required.

Certificates of attendance for postgraduate courses, training, update seminars, and conferences
Publication of scientific articles relevant to the research programme
Participation in national and international mobility programmes for scientific activities
