Advertised Job Summary
The Molinaroli College of Engineering and Computing at University of S.C is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Fiscal Analyst to serve in the Office of the Dean. This position plays a critical role in supporting the financial operations of the college by managing internal accounts and start-up accounts for faculty. The incumbent will also be responsible for analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with university and foundation policies. This position will also process various account actions, ED foundation check requests, account reconciliations, and assisting with various other budget-related duties.
Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience
Requires a bachelor's degree in a job related field and 3 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with USC systems such as Peoplesoft Finance and HCM. Familiarity with USC policies and procedures.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Knowledge of basic accounting principles. Ability to perform reconciliations of multiple accounts. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of or ability to learn PeopleSoft. Ability to handle multiple concurrent priorities and conflicting timelines. Proficient with Microsoft Excel, experience with Access, Word, and Outlook.
