Job Description (Roles and Responsibilities)

• Prepare and deliver an average of 10-12 English/German sessions per week (45-minute for one class, 18 teaching weeks per semester). The yearly teaching load is between 360 and 432 teaching sessions.
• Develop at least one required course and one optional course.
• Act as tutor/coach for students participating in English/German contests and competitions.

Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• Proficient English/German speaker (native English/German speakers are preferred).
• Undergraduate degree or above in languages, linguistics, literatures, education, cultural studies, or other relevant humanities subjects awarded by renowned universities in English/German-speaking countries.
• At least two years of relevant teaching experience (Applicants with a degree in education, linguistics, or other relevant disciplines, or in possession of a TEFL certificate, are exempt from this condition).
• Physically able to meet the requirements of the job.
• Aged between 25 and 58.

Salary, Benefits and Terms

Monthly salary: pre tax salary 9667 RMB/month (starting from September or February)

In addition to the monthly salary, a yearly bonus shall be paid based on successful completion of the required teaching hours and contribution to the academic development of the university.
