The Russian Language Faculty has been awarded the title of "specialty with distinctive characteristics" in Hainan Province and is among the best faculties in China's 6-star private universities. The program is based on the "Belt and Road" initiative and the needs of Hainan Free Trade Port construction. Optimized faculty structure, dynamic regulation mechanisms, advanced curriculum creation, professional teaching team with student-centered focus. The program integrates international educational innovations and creates a professional development model - "foreign language specialization + professional training", preparing international Russian-speaking specialists. The goal is "new mission, grand structure, new liberal arts and foreign languages", promoting the development and transformation of the Russian language program to serve as a communication tool; it meets the "first-class" standard for creating a distinctive specialty in Hainan; it aligns with Free Trade Port development needs and creates specialized course clusters; it supports educational goals and international integration. All this to achieve training objectives, conduct the program at an international level, and jointly prepare Russian language specialists.

The Russian Language Faculty employs 7 Chinese teachers and 2 foreign teachers. Among them, two professors, two associate professors, three PhDs, others are master's and senior lecturers, plus two Russian experts. The faculty collaborates with seven renowned universities in Russian-speaking countries on exchange programs, internships, short winter and summer semesters with Russian teachers, and cooperation in teaching and research. Over the past three years, more than 60% of students have studied abroad. Since its establishment, the employment rate of graduates has remained above 99.5%. Graduates work in government departments, enterprises, foreign institutions, research institutes, schools, and Sino-foreign joint ventures, receiving good feedback from employers. About 100 graduates have gone abroad for master's and PhD studies; many have been admitted to master's and PhD programs in Chinese institutions.
