Foreign Language Teacher Recruitment

Chengdu International Studies University (CISISU) is inviting applications for foreign language teachers for the upcoming academic year. Established in 2000, CISISU is an independent college and the only professional foreign language institution in Sichuan province, China. We’re seeking passionate and dedicated native-speaking teachers to join our team. Now accepting CV submission for 2026 academic year.

Positions Available

We are recruiting foreign teachers for the following languages:

• English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Polish, Czech, Hungarian
• Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Arabic

Candidate Qualifications

• Native speaker of the language you will teach
• Under 60 years of age
• At least 2 years of language teaching experience, OR a degree in education or a language-related field
• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Healthy and without a criminal record

Job Duties

• Teach 14 class hours per week (45 minutes per class), with a focus on oral language instruction
• Participate in departmental teaching activities and key school events

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: RMB 8,000 per month during semesters, and RMB 4,000 per month during summer and winter breaks.
• Accommodation: A furnished single apartment with household appliances will be provided. Foreign teachers live in the same building, which has a duty room for daily assistance.
• Bonus: A travel allowance of RMB 10,000 will be paid at the end of each academic year.
• Insurance: We provide accident, medical, and critical illness insurance for all foreign teachers.
• Visa: We will assist with the visa application process once all necessary documents are prepared. Visa-related fees will be reimbursed.
