Yiwu Industrial & Commercial College (YWICC) is situated in Yiwu, the world-famous trade city. The institution originated from Hangzhou University-Yiwu, established in 1993.

The campus covers over 160 acres, with a building area of 239,000 square meters. It is renowned for its beautiful, garden-like setting, featuring picturesque natural scenery and unique architecture. Current enrollment of Chinese and international students exceeds 11,000.

Academics and Faculty

The college offers education across 9 faculties and provides 32 three-year academic programs in a wide range of subjects. These faculties include: Humanities & Tourism, Mechatronics & IT, Economics & Management, Foreign Studies, Architectural & Civil Engineering, Creative Studies, Entrepreneurship, International Education, and the Department of Public Courses. Job Profile: Oral English Teacher

Position: Oral English teachers to teach classes like Oral English and Cross-culture Communication. The workload is 12-14 classes a week, plus office hours and occasional lectures, recordings, and normal teaching assessment duties.

Responsibilities and Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Teach Spoken English to both English and non-English majors.
• Deliver 1 or 2 lectures per academic year.
• Prepare and administer semester tests.

Qualifications:

• Native English speaker.
• Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s or Doctoral degree preferred).
• Teaching certificate and 2 or more years of ESL teaching experience.
• Professional, responsible, and enthusiastic attitude.

Compensation and Benefits

The contract period is one year (12 months) and is renewable.

Salary (Monthly, Pre-tax)

The salary varies by degree:

• Bachelor’s Degree: RMB 10,200
• Master’s Degree: RMB 11,000
• Doctoral Degree: RMB 17,000

6. Travel Bonus: An additional RMB 2,200 is paid upon the successful completion of a one-year contract.
7. Visa Fee: The cost of the visa fee in China is reimbursed once per person per year.
