Qufu Normal University is a key provincial – affiliated university in Shandong Province, with campuses located in Qufu, the hometown of Confucius, and Rizhao, a coastal city. The university has 7 disciplines ranked among the top 1% in the ESI global rankings, 6 first – class disciplines in Shandong Province, and 4 high – level disciplines in Shandong Province. Work Contract Period and Teaching Hours

Work Period: From September 2025 to July 2026
Teaching Hours:For language foreign teachers, the weekly teaching workload is 12 – 16 class hours.For professional foreign teachers, the weekly teaching workload is 10 – 12 class hours.

Relevant Remunerations

Salary Standard
For foreign language teachers (according to different educational backgrounds and degrees), the pre-tax monthly salary is above RMB 10,000.
For foreign teachers of specialized subjects, the pre-tax monthly salary is RMB 13,000.
Additional courses can be arranged according to teaching needs, and corresponding remuneration will be paid.
Accommodation: The university will provide a single-apartment of approximately 80 to 90 square meters for foreign teachers. The apartment is fully equipped with basic facilities, and the water and electricity fees are waived.
Transportation Expenses: The subsidy for one round-trip international air tickets will be issued according to the standards stipulated in the contract.
Holidays: Foreign teachers enjoy legal holidays of China.
Visa Procedures: The university is responsible for handling residence permit procedures and expert certificates for foreign teachers who have signed contracts, and will bear the relevant costs.
Insurance:The university uniformly purchases commercial insurance for foreign teachers. According to the terms of the insurance contract, the insurance company will cover the medical expenses of foreign teachers when they seek medical treatment at regular local Chinese hospitals.
Chinese Courses: Foreign teachers can choose to audit Chinese courses for free during their spare time according to their Chinese proficiency.
