Freelance Photographer HV-NTP-8360
To be considered an applicant for this position you must meet the minimum qualifications as stated in this announcement. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictions and appointment will be contingent upon completion of a background check.
This is a part-time position (free-lance) associated with the Multimedia Department. We are creating a registry of qualified photographers to be deployed as needed for day/evening/weekend assignments. A vacancy may not currently exist.
The part-time positions report to the Associate Director of Multimedia & Video Services or his/her designee.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3-5 years of professional photography experience.
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including mornings, nights and weekends, as required to cover assignments.
- Excellent communication, time management, organization skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to move, lift, set up and break down photography equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to capture events with on camera flash/speedlights.
- Knowledge of photo editing software, preferably Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom).
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior professional experience in photojournalism, photography, communications or marketing.
- Proficiency in shooting with DSLR cameras.
