About Our Center: The Fritz Haber Research Center (FHRC), established in 1981 by the Minerva Foundation and the Hebrew University, is a renowned center for molecular dynamics and theoretical chemistry. Named after Fritz Haber, a Jewish-German chemist who received the Nobel Prize in Chemistry, it has been instrumental in advancing theoretical research in molecular reaction dynamics and fostering strong collaborations with scientists in Germany and worldwide. The Center is known globally for its significant contributions to chemical and materials sciences.
Our Research: Our Center is comprised of nine independent research groups led by PIs in a variety of fields: molecular dynamics, quantum chemistry, electronic structure theory and materials science, astrochemistry, statistical mechanics, quantum thermodynamics, and quantum computing.
Job Description: Fellows are expected to conduct independent research of high scientific quality while maintaining close interaction with at least one, and preferably more than one research group within the Center.
Funding: An annual stipend of 40,000 USD is provided by the Fritz Haber Research Center for two years. In addition, an annual allowance of USD 2,500 to support professional and research-related activities, including participation in scientific conferences will be provided.

Requirements:
- PhD in Chemistry, Physics or a related field
- Strong research background and publication record
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Experience in theory development or in numerical methods is an advantage
