Front of House / Reception

The role primarily involves welcoming patients attending appointments with Dr Wendy Denning and Nurse Debbie, opening the door, greeting them warmly, making polite conversation and ensuring they feel comfortable while waiting.

The clinic is generally quiet and slow-paced, so there will often be downtime between appointments. We are therefore happy for the successful candidate to study or work quietly on their own laptop during quieter periods, provided they remain attentive and available when patients arrive.

We are looking for someone who is well presented, personable, discreet, punctual and comfortable speaking with a wide range of people. Previous reception or healthcare experience would be helpful but is not essential. The role could particularly suit a postgraduate student or someone seeking one regular day of flexible work each week.
