"FT Respiratory Therapy Instructor"

Position Responsibilities

• Curriculum Development/Revision and Review Program Planning
• Course development, classroom/clinical instruction and assessment of students
• CoARC Accreditation Compliance
• Student advising and evaluation
• Develop and maintain relationships within the community
• Participate in department meetings, program advisory committee meetings, and college-wide events
• Promote and recruit for program within and outside of the College
• Promote diversity, equity, inclusion and cultural competency

Salary Range

$44,144.00 - $96,906.00

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an accredited respiratory therapy program
• Four full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience as a registered respiratory therapist
• One year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field
• The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years
• Current Minnesota RRT license (Minnesota Board of Medical Practice) and current CPR instructor certification

Preferred Qualification

• At least two (2) years in clinical respiratory care
• A minimum of two (2) years' experience teaching either as an appointed faculty member in a CoARC-accredited respiratory care program or as a clinical instructor/preceptor for students of such programs
• Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion

• Copy of educational transcripts
• Copy of MN Respiratory Therapist License
• Copy of current CPR Instructor Certification
