FT Respiratory Therapy Instructor
Position Responsibilities
- Curriculum Development/Revision and Review Program Planning
- Course development, classroom/clinical instruction and assessment of students
- CoARC Accreditation Compliance
- Student advising and evaluation
- Develop and maintain relationships within the community
- Participate in department meetings, program advisory committee meetings, and college-wide events
- Promote and recruit for program within and outside of the College
- Promote diversity, equity, inclusion and cultural competency
Salary Range
$44,144.00 - $96,906.00
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate's degree from an accredited respiratory therapy program
- Four full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience as a registered respiratory therapist
- One year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field
- The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years
- Current Minnesota RRT license (Minnesota Board of Medical Practice) and current CPR instructor certification
Preferred Qualification
- At least two (2) years in clinical respiratory care
- A minimum of two (2) years' experience teaching either as an appointed faculty member in a CoARC-accredited respiratory care program or as a clinical instructor/preceptor for students of such programs
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion

- Copy of MN Respiratory Therapist License
- Copy of current CPR Instructor Certification
