Job Description
Successful candidates are expected to contribute significantly to faculty program development and will be responsible for duties including teaching, research, supervision, and coordination of students’ professional practice and dissertations.
Job Requirements
Holder of a Doctoral degree in a related field from an accredited institution; applicants in the final year of their PhD program will be considered for the Assistant Professor position; strong academic research ability and clear scientific research planning; able to teach undergraduate or postgraduate courses independently; successful experience in supervising undergraduate or postgraduate students; priority for those with good command of both spoken and written Chinese and English; preference for Macao residents under the same conditions.
Remuneration
The remuneration and appointment rank offered will be competitive and commensurate with the successful applicants’ academic qualifications, current position, and professional experience. The current local maximum income tax rate in Macao is 12%, but effectively around 5% - 7% after various discretionary exemptions.
