"Full Professor (W2) in Visual Computing"

RWTH Aachen University is one of Germany’s pre-eminent Universities of Excellence and is renowned for its high-quality teaching and world-class research. We are inviting applications for the position of full professor in the area of visual computing, to be filled as soon as possible.

The candidate should have expertise in one or several sub-areas of visual computing (i.e. the computational handling of image-, video-, or geometry-data in 2D and 3D), thereby developing and applying algorithmic (e.g. simulation, optimization) and/or data-driven methods (e.g. data analysis, machine learning).
