Specific activities required by the called professor:
Didactic engagement
The teaching commitment will relate to the courses offered by the CEAR-12/B academic discipline group – Urban and Landscape Planning (formerly ICAR/21), with particular regard to the degree programs offered by the ArCod Department. The teaching will focus on imparting knowledge and critical-interpretive skills regarding urban phenomena throughout their historical evolution up to the present day, as well as the principles, methods, and techniques of urban planning and design, landscape planning and its relationship to urban planning.
Scientific commitment
The scientific focus will be on conducting and promoting research activities within the scope of the topics covered by the CEAR-12/B scientific discipline group – Urban and Landscape Planning (formerly ICAR/21), focusing on the conceptual frameworks, methods, and tools of urban, territorial, and landscape planning and design, with particular emphasis on innovation in territorial planning and design processes across multiple scales, the relationship and integration between urban planning and landscape, interdisciplinarity and cooperative forms of territorial governance aimed at empowering local communities. Scientific activities, which may also be carried out through action research projects, may be aimed at transferring knowledge and expertise to public institutions and at implementing programs in the public interest and for the development of the local area.
