The Department of Accounting invites applications for a full-time position in professorial / practice track of lecturer/senior lecturer/assistant professor/associate professor/professor, with employment beginning in January/September 2026. Candidates are expected to have a PhD in accounting prior to employment. Candidates for the associate professor / professor position must have a significant track record in high-quality research or excellent professional experiences and recognition, demonstrate teaching excellence, and service experience. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Responsibilities include teaching, research, and various administrative duties, including admissions, course design, and program promotion, program accreditations, and professional development. Areas of teaching needs include digital accounting, Artificial Intelligence and accounting, Python for accounting analytics, data visualization in accounting, blockchain for accounting, accounting information systems, accounting systems design and development, forensic accounting, ESG and sustainability accounting, accounting data analytics, audit analytics, information system audits, and/or China/International taxation. Proficiency in English is required, while proficiency in Chinese will be an advantage. The appointment is contract-based and renewable upon mutual agreement.
