Job Description

The Department of Counselling and Psychology invites applications for full-time academic positions. Applicants should hold a doctoral degree in Psychology or a related field, along with relevant teaching and research experience. Experience in at least one, preferably more, of the following areas would be advantageous:

Criminal Psychology

Forensic Psychology

Investigative Psychology

Play Therapy

Trauma Psychology

Sport Psychology

Psychology of Exercise

Rehabilitation

Physical Therapy

The appointees are expected to provide research supervision to students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The academic rank offered will be commensurate with the academic and/or clinical background and experience of the successful candidate. The appointment is contract-based and renewable upon mutual agreement.

Requirements/Qualifications

Doctoral degree in Psychology or a related field

Relevant teaching and research experience

Experience in at least one, preferably more, of: Criminal Psychology, Forensic Psychology, Investigative Psychology, Play Therapy, Trauma Psychology, Sport Psychology, Psychology of Exercise, Rehabilitation, Physical Therapy
