Full-time Admissions Counselor

Salary: $45,996 (39-week contract) - Additional compensation opportunities available during summer months. Excellent health insurance, benefits, and generous paid time off

Summary of Duties:

• Be responsible for the recruitment of special populations including but not limited to high school students/graduates, local residents, out of county residents, members of community organizations and business and industry employees.
• Develop, maintain and nurture a program of visits to high schools/vocational schools, area employers, and specialized community organizations/agencies. Provide evening services as assigned.
• Be responsible for follow-up of recruited students. Reviews applicant materials for completeness. Exercises professional discretion with regard to decisions involving recruitment and admissions matters.
• Assist the Associate Dean of Enrollment Management in the development of policies and procedures as they affect the Admissions office.
• Be responsible for special projects and events as assigned by the Associate Dean.
• Serve as the liaison between Admissions and Financial Aid.
• Perform other incidental duties related to those that are listed above

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required. Masters degree preferred.
