"Full-Time Groundskeeper"

Montgomery County Community College invites applications for the Full-Time Groundskeeper. The Full-Time Groundskeeper creates and maintains the appearance of college grounds and building’s exterior.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

Education/Training/Work Experience:

• High school diploma, GED, or 1-2 years of work-related experience required
• Valid PA Driver’s License required

Specialized Knowledge & Skills:

• Must be physically capable of performing all duties on job description
• Must work outdoors in all types of weather
• Proficient knowledge of and ability to operate tractors, mowers, dump trucks, and snow removal equipment
• Must be able to communicate effectively
• Acquiring and maintaining PA Pesticide License Category 23 throughout employment

Additional Information Required:

• Ability to read, write, and follow routine instructions
• Ability to work within a team-oriented setting

Physical Requirements:

• Must have a good sense of balance; required to work at various heights. Moderate physical strength is required. Common outdoor allergies should not inhibit job performance.
