The Institute of Intelligent Electronics and Systems, Fudan University (Shanghai) is calling for 1 postdoctoral fellow to work in Professor Haitao Ye’s research group, in any of the following areas:

• CVD / PVD thin films and coatings growth
• Semiconductor devices & biosensors
• Microfluidic structures and nano-devices
• Antimicrobial materials

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Hold a Ph.D. degree (or expect to obtain one soon) from a recognized university, in disciplines such as Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Applied Physics, or related fields.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research, with a strong publication record in high-impact journals, or outstanding technical expertise.
• Must meet the relevant postdoctoral recruitment requirements of Fudan University.

Compensation and benefits

• Competitive annual salary:
  • Postdoctoral positions: 180,000 to 200,000 yuan ($26,080 to $28,980)
  • "Super Postdoctoral" positions: 230,000 to 500,000 yuan, depending on experience
• Social insurance and housing fund included.
• Access to postdoctoral apartments.
• Support for children' s school enrolment.
• The position is initially offered for a two-year term, with the possibility of renewal for an additional two years. Outstanding candidates may be considered for a faculty appointment at the conclusion of their term.
