GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- You must demonstrate excellence in teaching, commitment to integrating new technologies in the learning process and the ability to inspire, motivate and empower students to succeed.
- Design courses and develop labs to meet learning outcomes, and promote students’ active participation in their own learning.
- You are required to post your syllabi on BrightSpace and to enter your final grades online in PeopleSoft.
- Create an effective learning environment that fosters students’ intellectual curiosity and helps students to problem solve using discipline-specific thinking strategies.
- Maintain office hours.
- Contribute to and provide leadership in the student’s academic and professional communities, and promote collaboration and teamwork among members of these communities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree in Cybersecurity or related area of specialization or equivalent; Industry recognized certifications or related work experience can substitute for the degree concentration requirement; related area of specialization includes but is not limited to Information Security, Information Systems Management, Network Security, Information Assurance, Digital Forensics, Incident Response
- Previous teaching experience is preferred.
- Must be available to teach in-person
- We prefer candidates with knowledge of the BrightSpace or similar Learning Management System.
- A teaching demonstration will be required of selected candidates at a future date.

Salary Range: $58,000 - $65,000 annually
Offered salary will be determined by the respective collective bargaining agreement and applicant's education.
