Research topics include aerospace injector design, high-pressure fuel sprays, atomization and mixing, spray combustion, sustainable aviation fuels, optical diagnostics, and CFD modelling. Students will have access to advanced high-pressure/high-temperature spray facilities, high-speed diagnostics, and computational resources.
Applicants should hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Experience in combustion, fluid mechanics, experiments, CAD, CFD, or programming is desirable but not required.
