Major Duties
Under general supervision, the Development Analyst collaborates with three fundraisers and the Executive Director, identifies and implements effective donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies, conducts quantitative and qualitative analysis of donor portfolios, and provides strategic portfolio analysis.
- Communicates clearly and professionally with high-net-worth donors, including preparing briefing materials and participating in donor interactions as appropriate.
- Updates the Development Office website to reflect updated Advisory Board member information, events information, and fundraising opportunities.
- Plans and organizes Nazarian College Advisory Board meetings including planning meetings with Dean, Advisory Board guest speakers, and other College staff.
- Provides administrative oversight for development office, including managing front office phones/visitors and other office procedures including procurement, reconciliations, budget tracking, and meeting planning.
- Participates in occasional local and regional travel requiring independent transportation, to support donor engagement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of relevant experience.
- Additional experience which demonstrates acquired and successfully applied knowledge and abilities shown below may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
- An advanced degree in a related field may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Ability to analyze and interpret donor and alumni data for strategic decision-making.
- Skilled in professional communication and relationship management with high-net-worth individuals.
- Proficiency in managing databases, specifically Raiser's Edge, and generating accurate, detailed reports.
- Competence in planning and coordinating meetings, events, and related logistics.
- Expertise in maintaining and updating websites and digital content to enhance stakeholder engagement.
- Capable of independently managing travel logistics and administrative tasks to ensure seamless departmental operations.
Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule

- Classification: 0512 / Advancement Professional II / Grade 1
- The anticipated HIRING RANGE is $5274 - $5709 per month, dependent on qualifications and experience. The salary range for this classification is: $5274 - $7684 per month.
- HOURS: Full Time; 40 hours per week; Monday through Friday. May include evenings and weekends.
- This is a Regular position with a one-year probationary period.
