Shift: Weekdays between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Evenings. 10-15 hours a week. Please provide weekly availability.

Job Summary: Position Objective: To provide tobacco use prevention services to youth, families and community members across Kentucky. Position Description: Supervised by the Program Director, the Youth Prevention Specialist works in schools and communities to facilitate tobacco use prevention services based on the #iCANendthetrend framework, which include: 1. Prevention Education 2. Information Dissemination 3. Youth Empowerment 4. Professional Development

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities: N/A

Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?: No

Preferred Education/Experience: Experience working with youth in school or community setting is preferred, but not required. Experience in public speaking is preferred. Experience successfully utilizing tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. Be highly motivated, energetic, dependable and knowledgeable.
